Today I had two cases involving seasonally related conditions. Gretel, 41, was visiting me from Austria for knee and allergy issues. One session. Rapunzel is in her late 20s, experiencing feet and leg issues from heat. I thought I’d relate a realtime reflection of Conscious Acupuncture in action.
I’m seeing Rapunzel on a continuous basis. I’ve helped her considerably with her feet pain issues and this being my first summer with her have now been presented with the matter of foot swelling. I worked what I’m calling the “Imperfect Heavenly Circuit.” The “Perfect Heavenly Circuit” has all point on one yin-yang axis. The Imperfect honors the internal-external relationship between the kidney and pericardium in 12 Channely Theory. Interestingly, she didn’t zonk out as usual nor did she feel the urge to visit the facilities.
She has found my prescriptions previously to be effective but isn’t regular with taking them. I tell her that I want to give her a customized formula that I’ll have to think about. A conscious formula must balance the ratios between cause and effect. Any given presentation is at most only half of what’s going on physiologically. Determining the physiology is the core, because it determines which class of herbs will be used.
Cleopatra will receive five bags that she’ll brew at home. The herbs will help her metabolize water more efficiently while lowering the heat she’s affected by in summer.
Gretel is a yoga instructor, who experiences bouts of allergies and sensitivities in the summer. Pink marks stayed on her abdomen and sternum from simple palpation as if considerable friction or force had been applied. She noted that rolling on a foam roller leaves her entire back side red and irritated. I’ve one session to work. We had already arranged some pills that worked well for her skin sensitivity in the spring. I didn’t muscle test her but it is possible that the pills won’t be sufficiently cooling.
In the acupuncture session, I treated allergy spots on the ear and employed the Metal over Wood combination. The marks did not dissipate, so I employed umbilical acupuncture, emphasizing the same liver/lung combination. After five minutes the marks started to fade noticeably faster, and Gretel reported feeling a warming sensation in the abdomen. Here’s a pic of the umbilical microsystem:

Reflections
Since people’s thermostats differ, conditions can vary depending on the season. Conscious Acupuncture needs to be sensitive to this. Gretel’s hypersensitivity was addressed through acupuncture addressings heat sensitivity, allergies, and the lung and liver at varying levels. The visible marks on her abdomen gave a real time indication of how the body was responding at the level necessary to decrease skin sensitivity. Rapunzel’s approach will emphasize herbs that both strengthen will draining excess heat and water.
